Letterpress Return Address printing is available at an additional cost, simply select that option at checkout. The addresses are typeset by hand from the shop's collection of moveable type then printed using archival ink.

ABOUT LETTERPRESS

Letterpress is one of the world's oldest forms of printing. Despite advancements in digital technologies, people love letterpress in stationery design because of its tactile beauty. Each color is mixed by hand and each piece of paper is handfed into our vintage Chandler and Price Press, a 115+ year old printing machine. The Letterpress printing process uses raised type, the impact on the printing paper from the raised letters result in the signature embossed feel of the printing process.

MATERIALS

Cards are letterpress printed on a 100% cotton; tree-free paper specially designed to showcase the sculptural qualities of letterpress printing. Printing inks are archival and designed to last the test of time.

DETAILS & DIMENSIONS

Cards measure 4.25” x 5.25" standard A2 card size. Cards are flat not folded. Set comes with your choice of ink colors, envelope color, and the option for letterpress printed, return address printing on the back flap of the envelope.

Font used in this set is called Metrolite, designed in 1929 as an alternative to the popular geometric typefaces designed during the same time period such as Futura.

STORAGE & SHIPPING
