Get inspired! This hardcover, handmade book is a perfect for journaling, sketching, addresses, scrap booking or any other creative use.

A special gift to yourself, or for the avid journal writer. 

The custom inlay is letterpress ornamental initial printed from a font called Ataraxy produced from contemporary American foundry, Skyline type. The initial is printed on 100% cotton paper, which is designed to show off the sculptural qualities of the letterpress printing process. Please note, no letter "X" was ever cast for this font.

MATERIALS

The book is constructed using acid free, archival materials, assuring the book will last in its present condition through the test of time. 

The outside cover is made using silk book cloth for a unique and faceted shine. The interior covers feature marbled papers for traditional beauty.

The interior paper is a soft white 70lb text weight paper with a slightly textured eggshell finish. The paper is certified sustainable with a 25% cotton content. Perfect for writing, drawing and using light water media. The book has 128 pages.

A very special feature of this book is the headband on the top and bottom of the spine of the book that is sewn by hand using alternating colors of linen thread.
