MATERIALS

Some of the processes used to create printing plate are the use soft ground to embed texture, aquatint to create an etched halftone and chin cole/collage to add a piece of handmade paper seemlessly into the printed image.

Archival, oil based inks are used to print the image for beauty and colorfastness. Printed on 100% cotton (tree free:) paper. Dampened printing paper was used resulting in the embossing of the printed image during the printing process and adding an extra dimension to the final print. Print is signed and editioned as 1 of 8, making this a small and special series.
